Have you ever been anxious or felt deep feelings of depression? I have been in that situation on more than one instance. The sad part is that it does not have to be this way because I often forget that as a saved, born-again person I am a child of the King. My Heavenly Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills, He even owns the hills that the cattle place their feet upon and there is nothing that can happen to me without God knowing it and allowing the trials. Imagine if you will a large circle drawn on a page and in the direct center of that circle is a dot. That dot represents you and I and the circle represents the grace of God. On the outside of the circle are thousands of fiery darts that Satan throws at you and I, day by day, hour by hour and minute by minute. Each dart bounces to and fro and on certain occasions one enters the circle and heads straight for us. Remember as each one makes its way toward us it is being surrounded by the grace of God and what Satan meant for harm God is working for our good. Romans 8:28 Satan could not touch Job without express permission from God and that was not a punishment for Job but it was proof for his trust in God. How about Joseph when his brothers sold him into slavery? It was for the good of Joseph and the glory of God.
